Blue and Red Materia Cocktails from Artnia

Last December, Square Enix opened up a cafe in Japan called Artnia. Among the many themed foods and drinks are cocktails base on Final Fantasy VII’s materia. Each drink contains a mixture of gin and lime juice along with an ingredient frozen into a sphere to represent the magical crystals. Blue materia is frozen blue curacao and red materia is frozen creme de cassis.

Still searching for work, SWTOR love

So I am still looking for work. It actually is very difficult getting into the social media marketing industry without already having a humongous portfolio of big names and degrees to back it up. But I won’t stop trying.

My renewed dedication to getting in shape is going along nicely, I have already lost 3 lbs! Hopefully soon my exercise ball will arrive from my friend in Orange County so I can really “get the ball rolling” if you know what I mean!!!

Even though the Mists of Pandaria beta invite will be rolling my way soon, I have to admit I have fallen in love and will likely finally betray World of Warcraft for good for SWTOR (Star Wars: The Old Republic). It just fills the nerdy void in my heart that WoW simply cannot provide. Sure, WoW has extensive lore and whatnot, but it was built and created by Blizzard, not just plopped off of something that already had a huge franchise before they came along. Star Wars is just that one nerdy thing most of us either love admitting to, or hide with only our massive paraphernalia in our rooms. I have a best friend who even has a Sith shrine in his house, and I bought him a Darth Maul watch for Yule. So basically, Blizzard, I love you, but I’m sorry; you just can’t fill the void that Star Wars can.

Been following news on the Playstation Vita, as well as grinding out Mass Effect like a boss so I can get around to Mass Effect 3 Collector’s Edition. Boy will I be glad when that’s over. Maybe by the time I get to play it Bioware will have already integrated the new ending “clarification” that they have caved into under overwhelmingly massive user complaints. It was massively effective (gods that pun will never get old).

Anyway, enough prattling about. Back to the job hunt! I will find that perfect social media job! I will!! And then my life’s work will begin. It took 24 years, but I finally know what I want to do with my life.

When I was a little girl, Chevy’s was one of the best places to eat. I just went today, and everything is changed. What the hell happened?

The tortilla machine is gone, the pork loin is gone, the mix and match is gone… It’s like so very little of the restaurant is left! The one plus was a new dessert called a benuelo.

We got a new off the block server, who messed up two out of the three orders but it really wasn’t his fault. All in all, I was very sad that the place I grew up enjoying has fallen to such bland and boring lows.
